How do you determine what size implants to use for breast augmentation? - Aria Plastic Surgery

One of the biggest fears that many patients have, is that they will be .too big. or .too small. after having a breast augmentation. In our practice, we make sure you are closely involved with the sizing process. We start by asking you what cup size you.d ideally like to be and then have you try on a post-operative bra of that size. You will then place sizer implants of varying sizes in the bra to see how they .fit.. In a full-length mirror you can see how you look with different sizes and ultimately get an idea of what you are comfortable with. We will certainly offer our advice when it comes to the final decision, but it is ultimately your choice. You are welcome to bring in a friend or spouse to help you with the decision if you desire and you are also welcome to come back for a second sizing to confirm your decision.

After you&rquo;ve chosen your desired size, we look at your measurement and also your tissue characteristics to ultimately pick the implant that is best for you.
