How long is the recovery after breast enhancement surgery? - Aria Plastic Surgery

In answering this question, it is important to point out that everyone heals differently and some women might recover more rapidly or take a little longer than others. In general, however, the first few days after breast augmentation you will be tired and sore but this will rapidly improve over the first week. Most are able to resume light activity and non-strenuous work after one week. The swelling of your breasts, however, may take three to six weeks to completely disappear and you should avoid any heavy activity or exercise until after this time. Your scars will become red and even thickened at first but normally start to fade and flatten out after about three months and continue to improve over the first year.
